Our Services
Life Safety
Birmingham Fire Department operates at a Basic Life Support level of care. Which means firefighters are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians. Birmingham Fire Department works closley with Claycomo Fire Department, Kansas City Fire Department, and Pleasant Valley Fire Department which all provide Advanced Life Support.
Protect Property
Birmingham Fire Department utilizes three front-line apparatus; Pumper 91, Ladder 92, and Brush 93. Birmingham Fire Department believes in a safe and quick attack on firefighting. Our firefighters use aggressive skills to minimize loss to personal property.
Provide Service
Birmingham Fire Department participates with a number of local programs to assist our community. Some of those programs include smoke detector installs and checks, home safety inspections, burn permits, fire extinguisher instruction, and community First Aid and CPR training.
